BEYOND COFFEE: TOWARDS A CIRCULAR ECONOMY IN COFFEE

The ICO is delighted to announce the launch of our flagship Coffee Development Report (CDR) 2022-23, an in-depth examination of the circular economy’s transformative potential within the coffee sector.

The CDR 2023-2023 was unveiled at the 6th CEOs and Global Leaders Forum (CGLF) in September 2024, and the edition of the full report recently launched features collaborative policy recommendations to promote circular economy practices across the coffee value chain, delivering cutting-edge research, fresh data, and sector analysis enriched with practical case studies for a sustainable coffee future.

Produced through landmark collaboration with the International Trade Centre (ITC), the Center for Circular Economy in Coffee (C4CEC), Lavazza Foundation, and Politecnico di Torino, with contributions from University College London, this CDR edition reflects the work of a diverse global multi-stakeholder group under the ITC Coffee Guide Network.
